
The stage that we got was not just a raised platform, it was a very solid structure with walls and a substantial weather-proof roof. The heavily cross-braced steel scaffolding skeleton slowly took shape over the first two weeks of construction. Steel scaffolding is a very versatile temporary building material but it has to be dismantled the same way it’s put up, which means it took almost as much work to take it down as it did to build it.
By the time the Festival ended, Fiery Creations was broke, so I wonder who paid the cleanup crew who had to restore the fields to their original empty state?
